About Me

My photo
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

OUR DAUGHTER IS NOW SAFELY HOME. HERE ARE SOME PICS.

This is Laura on the afternoon that I had to take her to the emergency room.  Her exam room was the hallway, the place was so busy.  Here she was just thinking about the ruination of their vacation and her camping trip.

Here she is a couple of days later, with her trusty dusty knee scooter.  Things are looking up.  Today I heard from here and she is out of the bulky splint and just wearing a "boot", which velcros on her leg, but can be removed.  She still can't walk on it for another couple of weeks.  Life isn't so bad after all, I guess.  Cade was bummed because she didn't get a hard cast that he could write on.
