About Me

My photo
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN?

This is the most favorite card that I've created in a long time.  I started with the blue cardstock and made it into a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" A2 size card.  On the front I cut a 4" x 51/4" piece of white cardstock and embossed in with Anna Griffin's "Swirls" embossing folder in my Cuttlebug (so easy).  Then I went into Cricut Design Space and did a Print To Cut of Elsa from "Frozen".  I believe she was cut at 3".  On the inside I used the "write" function on my Cricut Explore and wrote the phrase with a metallic silver pen.  The extra snowman was cut also with the Print To Cut feature.  I had cut an Olaf, but I used him on another card.  I'm going to send this card to my sister in Florida, where it's 80 degrees.  Ha!

A REALLY CUTE GRADUATION HAT AND CARD

I have come home from my week as a college student, and I'm now inspired to start doing more videos. My husband is off fishing near the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, so I have 5 days to myself to create. I made this video of a really easy graduation card - just in case your as late as I am sending out the few that I have to send. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

A QUICK AND EASY CARD FOR YOU

I made this cute litte card in just a few minutes while I was cleaning out the container for my scrap paper. I have finally realized that there has to be a limit to the amount of scraps I save. The rest has to go.

MAKE SOME CARDS THIS AFTERNOON

This afternoon I had to make two birthday cards - one for a man and one for a woman.  I made multiple copies of one of the cards because I thought I could use it for something other than just birthdays, so I didn't stamp any sentiments on it yet, but I think it turned out cute.  Here it is:

Sorry it's so small.  I inadvertently reduced the image size while I was adjusting it, so you'll have to squint your eyes to see it.  The two flowers were tea-bag folded tulips and were pop-dotted on.
