I have found myself totally addicted to my Rainbow Loom, so that now, if I sit down to watch TV, I am also making a bracelet. Here are some of the ones I've made that are for sale (at a very reasonable price, I might add) in my Etsy store: "Findingtherainbow".
I'm going to be at a scrapbooking retreat starting this Tuesday through Saturday. I'm taking my computer so I can blog about what goes on.
The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

I'm Still In Florida, But I'll Be Home Soom
I am extending my stay in Florida, mainly because I want to, but also because I feel my daughter still needs a little help around the house after her surgery. I also bought, from her plastic surgeon, a month's supply of Latisse. That's the stuff that's supposed to make your eye lashes grow long and thick. My poor eyelashes are so blonde that, unless I pile on the mascara, you can't even tell I have any! So I'm going to see how this very expensive stuff works.
I mentioned that I have an Etsy Shop now, didn't I? I surely would appreciate it if you would check it out. The name of it is "FindingtheRainbow", and right now I'm mainly going to be selling my Rainbow Loom bracelets (I've already sold two!!), but I will be selling some of my mini-albums and some photographs I've taken through the years. Feel free to take a look.
My little grandson, Cade, who is just 8 years old, got braces on his 4 top front teeth today. They're neon blue, and he thinks he's really cool, but I suspect once they start bothering him, he won't be quite so thrilled about them. I'll post a picture of him that I got on my phone.

I ACTUALLY HAVE AN ETSY STORE NOW. PLEASE VISIT!
I decided that I need some way to sell some of the crafty things that I make, so I have opened an Etsy shop. It's called "Findingtherainbow", mainly because right now I'm selling my Rainbow Loom bracelets that I'm so addicted to making. However, as you know, I do make the occasional mini- album, and I plan to sell those also. So, I would like to invite you to visit my store whenever you feel like it. At some point you may find something you want.
Also, I am going to Florida again tomorrow, but just for a week, so I will probably send some pictures from the Sunshine State. It's the rainy season down there, so I probably won't be going to the beach - the afternoons are usually washouts. Hopefully, there are no hurricanes sloshing around in the Atlantic. It's 1:00 A.M. right now, and I'm sure my husband is sound asleep, so I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. We have made arrangements to have wooden floors put down in our TV room while I'm gone (to look good with our new living room furniture). Did I send you a photo of our new couches? I'm not sure, so I guess I'll post another. Then imagine how good it'll all look with wood flooring instead of the dirty seafoam green carpet that's there now. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered that color. We live on a farm with red clay for dirt!! Anyway, I am really looking forward to coming home to a whole new look. Oops, I can't post pictures of the couches because I never took them off my camera. Sorry about that.
The next time you hear from me, I'll be in Jupiter, Florida.
