About Me

My photo
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

OUR NEW HOLIDAY EXPRESSIONS BROCHURE IS COMING DEC. 1ST. HERE'S A PREVIEW!

I sure hope you can see this - hopefully you can go through it page by page. Oh, good. I just checked and you can go through it. This brochure is only for consultants to order from right now, but on Dec. 1, 2014, you can order from it yourself. In the meantime, go through it, and, hopefully, you can find something you want. Remember, my website is: http://justamidnightcropper.ctmh.com.
Thanks! Judy

Also, I want to tell you about the special incentives that Close To My Heart's Studio J is offering. CLOSE TO MY HEART NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

From: Judy Goodson, CTMH consultant
E-mail: Grammy Goodson@bellsouth.net

Hi to all Close To My Heart customers and potential customers,
November is an exciting month. First of all, with a $50 order, for just $5, you can get the precious stamp of the month called “It’s The Little Things”. For this price you get a collection of 13 small stamps that combine to make beautiful flower bouquets. If you go to my web site at: http://justamidnightcropper.ctmh.com, you will see a lovely example of what this stamp set will make. Just look for November Stamp Of the Month.
Also, for you digital scrappers, Studio J is celebrating their 5 year anniversary with special pricing on layouts for only $5.00 - this is $2.50/page, printed out in beautiful semi-gloss 12”x 12” archival paper. Plus, every 5th layout, chosen randomly, will win a special prize valued for at least $5. A third prize is the 5 “golden tickets” that will be sent out with your printed layouts for the month of November, and with these you could possibly win one of Close To My Heart’s new D ring albums with a set of top-loading page protectors.
For a 4th way to win, post one or more of your favorite Studio J layouts that you’ve created on Facebook, using the hash tag #ctmhlucky5 before Nov. 30th, and 5 lucky winners will be selected from those submitted. But DO post them before Nov. 30th! You can also do the same thing on Instagram. So, go ahead, create and win on Studio J.
Also, our new Holiday Brochure is out. As a consultant I can send you one, or, one Dec. 1st they will be available for general ordering on my website, but not until then. Can’t wait to hear from you! Let’s all get into the Holiday spirit.
Warmly, Judy Goodson, CTMH consultant

GOOD-BYE FLORIDA - HELLO COLD TENNESSEE!

We arrived home last night after spending 8 lovely days in Florida.  We had such a great time, but eventually, all good things must come to an end.  We are back home in reality and getting geared towards Christmas.  We draw names among the adults, so that helps cut down on the expense, but we do still have four grandchildren to buy for, and their "wants" get more elaborate every year.  Our youngest (age 7) wants a Sony projector so he can watch his Dad's IPad videos projected on a large screen.  Can IPads really do that???

On the subject of Christmas..... this time of year really stresses me out.  I love the Holiday and the Christmas story, but it all seems to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the commerciality of the season.  What happened to the time when family members made special gifts for one another, we got an apple or an orange in the toe of our Christmas stockings, and unwrapping presents didn't go on for hours because there were just not that many?  We truly appreciated every gift and sometimes we didn't get that one thing we really wanted, but what we did get, we loved because it was given with love.  Our church Christmas pageant was filled with little kids playing shepherds, wisemen, donkeys, sheep and Joseph and Mary - with one little fake baby Jesus in the manger.  Of course there were sweet little angels with gold pipe-cleaner halos too.  Now, I worry about getting all my Christmas cards made and mailed, attending all the Holiday get-togethers, and not getting sick from exhaustion before Christmas.  And, all of a sudden, the day is over, and you're stuck taking down the tree and the decorations all by yourself.  Never fails!  I hope I don't sound like the Grinch, because I really do think Christmas is beautiful - it's just that sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees.  Blessings to all of you this Season!
