About Me

My photo
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

WATCH FOR ME IN "HOMICIDE HUNTERS" ON THE ID CHANNEL!

Last night I spent 5 hours filming another reality TV show - only this time I don't get killed......my husband does.  It's going to be shown on the ID Channel (Investigation Discovery) in the fall, and the series is called "Homicide Hunters".  I think it'll be when the new season starts in September or so.  I have no idea what night it's on, but I'll let you know.

I do these things every now and then, as you may have learned if you've followed my blog for any length of time.  But it's been a while since I got a good gig.  The director of this one was the same guy who directed me in the last one, and he's really nice.  I had to cry for numerous "takes" when the "detectives" came and told me that my husband had been shot.  Let me tell you, I was so hot in this little apartment we were filming in that I didn't need any artificial tears - the sweat was streaming down my face!  I was in a heavy knit pajama top and baggy knit pants, and I literally thought I was going to pass out. I guess that helped me get into character.  Ha!
We finally finished at midnight, and the first thing I did was head for a McDonalds.  I was starving!  I was so exhausted this morning that I slept until after 11:00 A.M.
