- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

ALLELUIAH! CHRIST HAS RISEN TODAY!
I love Easter for everything it means: Resurrection, New Hope, Signs of Spring (although they are rather late this year), Lillies, New life. It's just a great time of year, and this year after church we went to my sister's house for Easter lunch, along with my husband's sister and her husband. There were only 5 of us, but it was a wonderful meal and time together. This afternoon we watched our Lady Vols defeat Oklahoma to move on in the NCAA tournament. They'll play Louisville on Tuesday in order to move on to the "Final Four". I'm not a great basketball fan, but I do always support our Lady Vols at tournament time.
