The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

I ACTUALLY HIT THE GYM AGAIN TODAY.
I felt well enough to go back to the gym with my friend Eloise. Today was our last visit with our "personal trainer", a darling young man named Robby. He has been so good about getting us revved up and going, but then we found out that it would cost us an extra $140/month to continue to have him continuing to rev us up once a week, so now we are on our own. He did give us a pretty good idea on what equipment we needed to work on, so that was helpful. They're showing "The Hunger Games" in the treadmill movie theatre, so I think I'm going to have to go for the next three days to be able to see the whole movie. Actually, my husband and I watched it the day after it came out on DVD, and, I must say, it kind of creeped me out to see kids killing kids. It was an exciting movie, but the subject matter was GROSS! I hope my grandson doesn't go see it. He's only 14, and I think he's too young for such gruesomeness. I know many people disagree with me, but it's one thing to read a book about the subject, and quite another to see the violence in vivid color right in front of you. That being said, I do intend to read the books - strange huh??
