I was recently in Florida, and, Florida Power and Light Company has a large station on the Intercoastal Waterway in Riviera Beach. The water is very warm there because of the power plant keeping the water warm, and if the weather is cool, the manatees gather in the lagoon next to the plant to keep warm. They have a nice viewing area, and quite a few people were there. I shot this video with my iPhone, so it's not the best. Hope you enjoy it.

- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

VIEWING MANATEE IN FLORIDA
