This last week of my life can only be described as days in a drug-filled haze, cringing every time I had to grab ahold of my walker, struggle to get in an upright position, and try to move about between my chair and the bathroom. In between all this, I have to go to rehab therapy 3 times a week. This is definitely not how I had originally planned to spend the Holiday season!
There are so many exciting things happening with Close To My Heart! I managed to complete my cute snowman Christmas cards before my surgery, so that was one thing I did get accomplished. - I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.
