About Me

My photo
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

A UNIQUE ANNA GRIFFIN CARD I MADE WITH MY CRICUT EXPLORE

I have decided that instead of trying to upload videos that are a pain in the neck to do, I'm going to show more of my completed projects, and tell you how I did them, keeping them simple and uncomplicated.  Lately, I have been seriously considering becoming a Close To My Heart consultant. What do you think?  Have any of you been a consultant with them?  If so,  I would love to hear your input - especially on things like:  1.  What is the minimum sales requirement?  2.  Can sales be made without having "parties"?  I don't want to sell that way.  3.  What is the initial monetary investment on a new consultant's part?  I know I should be asking a CTMH consultant these questions, but I feel their answer would be slanted in hopes of making a sale.  I'm still thinking about it, so let me know what you think.

In the meantime, here's a pretty card I made using my Cricut Explore, using one of July's Anna Griffin designs.  I did have to purchase the design, but it turned out really pretty - using just 2 cuts - the light pink outside with the card design, and the green inside, cut to perfectly match the outline of the outside.  Also included in the design was the white doily under the "Hang In There" card.  Since this was a featured design in Cricut Design Studio, the step-by-step instructions were right on my computer screen.  So easy!  If you have a chance try the new Cricut Design Studio. And see what you can do with the Explore.
