About Me

My photo
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

NEW PICTURES OF MY GRANDCHILDREN

For Christmas my youngest daughter gave us new pictures of our grandchildren - school pictures I presume.  I think they're all pretty good, because they look just like them.  The first one is Benjamin, age 15.  He's in the 9th grade, and is saving his money to buy his first car.  Lord help us!

The next cherub is our only granddaughter, Abigail.  She resembles my side of the family, in that she has red hair.

Abby is 9 and is in the 4th grade.  She is very artistic
and is always drawing and writing stories.  She's had a great teacher this year this year who has helped encourage her.

This is Elijah (Eli), our next to youngest grandson.  He is 8 years old and in the third grade.  He looks just like his mom when she was this age.  Eli marches to the tune of a different drummer.  He is a bit of a techie and prefers playing video games and building Lego kits - things he can do without outside interference.

Our youngest grandchild is Cade, whom you've seen and heard about many times.  This is him on New Year's Eve.
