The Saturday after Thanksgiving we took Laura, Brian, and Cade to Dixie Stampede, Dolly Parton's western dinner show in Pigeon Forge, TN. It was a super fun time, and everyone had a ball. Cade was a little taken aback that we had to eat our dinner with our fingers, but he got over it and managed to eat most of his roasted Cornish hen. The scenery and the horseback riding was wonderful! It's gotten me into the Christmas spirit, and I have started doing some of my Christmas shopping. Have you?

- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.
