The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

HUBBY'S HOME - HAVE TO SHAPE UP AND COOK AGAIN
Well, my week of laziness is gone. My husband got home this afternoon, so I had to hop to it and fold the laundry that had been in the dryer all week, finish cleaning up the kitchen, and even defrost some chicken and put it in the crockpot for supper tonight. Talk about shock! I have been living on junk and leftovers all week long! My spare time has been spent in watching Season 1 of "Homeland". I have just started watching that show on Showtime, and it's already into Season 3, so, in order to know what's been going on, I have tried to rent DVD's of Season 1 and watch them while I've been home alone. I am down to the last three shows of the first season, but then I have to go hunt down the DVD's of Season 2 to really catch up. This series is really great, and I hate that I didn't start watching it from the beginning. In case you get Showtime, it's on at 9:00 P.M. on Sunday nights, and it's really great. But in order to understand the intrigue behind the whole CIA investigation, you really have to see it from the beginning. I've learned a whole lot of things I didn't know from watching Season 1. I wonder what Season 2 will bring?
