I don't know whether I'm doing the right thing or not, but I have made arrangements to switch from AT&T internet to ViaSat provided through DirecTV. Our AT&T just isn't reliable at all, and I have been getting bumped off every day. It's like my Ethernet box gets hot and just quits working. So frustrating!! Also, both of us have cell phones, and the only calls we get on our house phones are telemarketers and calls from our credit card companies telling us we can decrease our interest. So, basically, we have service we don't like, and we can save $75 a month by bundling with DirecTV. Do any one you have satellite internet? Is is reliable? I sure would like to know before I make a two year commitment. At any rate, my e-mail address will remain the same.
My leg is healing nicely, and I have switched to a smaller bandage. I think it'll be a while before my stitches come out though. I slept through a good part of this week, so it sure has been a short one. Sundays roll around pretty often. Here it is, the second Sunday in Advent already - time to get my Christmas cards addressed and mailed. How are you all doing with your Christmas preps? Well, time for bed. I'll write again tomorrow.
The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.
