Now that all our company has left, here I am doing loads and loads of sheets. Every bed, and, yes, even part of the floor was used to sleep on. Thus, just about all of my sheets were put to use and now sit in the wash room waiting to be laundered. I must confess, for the ones that were only used one night, I was very tempted to just fold them back up and put them back in the closet. But, no, I am doing the right thing and washing everything. I wouldn't like to sleep on someone else's used sheets either! I am going on a 4 day crop at a country inn in Sevierville next week, so I'm trying to straighten out my craft room and decide what I'm going to take. I think I'm going to work on a couple of kits from Kathy at Paper Phenomenon. I got behind with her monthly kits, so I need to try to catch up. That way I know exactly what I need to take. Otherwise, I try to take everything I own, and don't use 1/3 of it - just a waste of effort on my part. I love going to the crops because the girls inspire me with their creativity. When I crop here at home, I'm constantly being distracted and often get very little done. Hopefully, I'll be able to complete at least one whole project!
Tonight is New Year's Eve, and my husband and I have opted to stay home and have some peace and quiet. Of course, he's watching a bowl game, but I'm going to read a good book. Happy New Year to You All!! Stay safe and drive safely. Much love, Judy
The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.
