Laura, Brian and Cade left this morning to go back to Florida, and now it's so quiet in the house that it's spooky. For 3 weeks I've been hearing our little 7 year old chatter throughout our house and his, and I really miss it now. Our youngest grandchild always has something to say, and some of it's pretty funny! Yesterday we went to Dollywood again, and had a good time - even though we did get rained out by 5:00 P.M. When it thunders and lightenings at Dollywood, all the rides shut down, and there's nothing to do except shop, eat, or go home. We chose to eat, and then we went home. I finally did get brave enough to ride the "Wild Eagle" which is the new ride this year. It was thrilling and exciting, and, since I was sitting next to someone I didn't know, I restrained from screaming.
Today I am straightening up my craft room, so I can start up my new series of videos. Get ready!

- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.
