- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

WORKIN' ON ONE MORE BOOK - THEN OFF TO FLORIDA!
I am leaving for South Florida this Friday evening for a nice 10 day stay in the sun, so I have one more book to finish before I go - and LOTS of laundry, so my DH doesn't run out of clean underwear. LOL! I dread it when he does laundry by himself, so I try to get everything clean before I leave. The weather is damp and cold up here, so I'm looking foreward to some nice, sunny weather. I'll keep posting while I'm gone and maybe send a picture or two.
