- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

CATCHING UP WITH MY COMINGS AND GOINGS
We've been busy, busy, busy. I was just too tired last night to write. We'd spent three hours out on the ocean being bounced around in 4-6 foot seas trying to find whales at their feeding grounds, and we DID find them! Huge humpback whales feeding, as well as some smaller Minke whales. The first whale was right beside the boat putting on a show for everyone for quite a few minutes. Of course we were on the opposite side
