The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL!
Every year on this day, my husband and I attend the Greenback, TN, July 4th parade. I have a You Tube video of it on my You Tube channel under "Laurakim1" - if you're interested in seeing it. This parade is truly old tyme Americana. The farmers ride their tractors, the kids decorate their bicycles or their 4-wheelers, the antique and classic car collectors decorate their cars, and the police and fire trucks turn on their lights and sirens. Also, the horses and riders come decked out too. And everyone throws candy out to the little kids lining the streets. This year our 6 year old grandson was one of them, and he came away with quite a haul. The whole town lines up along Main St., and everyone knows everyone. It's a great little parade, no bands, few floats, but a lot of fun. And did I mention, it was over 95 degrees! After that we all went out for lunch, and now I'm going to lay down and take a nap and hope that it rains. Have a good one!
