- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

I'VE GOT ROYAL WEDDING-ITIS!
Well, our electricity didn't come back on in time for the Royal Wedding, so I high-tailed it over to my sister's house last night and stayed with her. She had electricity! We got up at 5:30 A.M. EST this morning, and sat in the living room with our jammies on, drinking hot tea and eating banana nut bread muffins that Sis had made for the Royal Occasion. We enjoyed the goodies and the wedding totally, and we watched it until the second kiss was over and they all went back inside. Wasn't it a grand affair!! Some of those hats were really over the top! It's almost bed-time now, and the TV is still full of post-wedding news. Now I'm over it. I'm ready to start looking for something else to obscess over. Is anyone else getting married that I need to know about??
