The writer speaks of the common occurences in the life of anyone who scrapbooks regularly and finds that she (or he) has spent more on scrapbooking tools than on food for the family. There are musings about a hobby that creates a mess wherever you work at it, and as long as there are unscrapped photographs anywhere in the house, it never ends. And there are always new and wonderful products coming out that one HAS to have!
About Me
- Judy G.
- I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

Hi, tonight The Pink Stamper is having a Blog Hop, and her challenge is to make a card, scrapbook page, or something fun that has the color pink in it. Of course she would pick pink! I decided to make a simple card: I used plain white card stock to make the basic card and then I collaged some scraps of K and Co. paper on the card in a fairly organized pattern. Then I punched out the flowers with 3 sized punches and layered them together. To make them fold up, I wrapped each of the petals around a skinny pencil before I glued the flowers together. I glued a tiny white pearl in the middle of each of the flowers. I cut out the butterfly from another scrap of paper and also folded it's wings around the pencil to make them curl a bit. Then I pop-dotted three little buttons on and pinked the open edge of the card and that was it. The letters were punched out with small alphabet punches. It's suprising what you can do with the scraps you have laying around!
